Dang, I’m even an AMC guy. I can’t believe I didn’t post one. Although, I probably would have used a Hornet-based 77 AMX to make it more competitive with these cars (the Spirit AMX is a little newer than the Maverick and Nova).
I can assure you that I eventually will post a Malaise Micro-Muscle TDB, and when I do Gremlin X will be one of the choices.

I came very close to having a Spirit AMX as my first car, but it needed an air pump and a couple other things that I would have been willing to do, but my parents weren’t. Instead they bought me a Pontiac Phoenix and almost immediately regretted it.
I always forget about the Hornet AMX, those are cool too.
For these three, I’d probably DD the Maverick, track the SC, and burn the Nova.

Daily the Nova, track the Aspen, burn the Pinto.

You mean the X-Body Phoenix? Ouch.
I almost bought one of the Hornet AMXs a year or so ago, but the rust on it was probably technically beyond repair. I already have one basketcase AMC to pour $$$ into (my Pacer wagon), and I didn’t really need another. Really neat cars, though.

Yep, the very same. About a month after I got my license my stepdad threw in the towel and traded it for an ‘83 Celebrity which turned out to be an awesome car.

Track the Nova. There are lots of good suspension arts available for those, and they were available with a manual.
Daily the Maverick. I think these look good when done up right.
Burn the Aspen.

Daily the Maverick, because it’s assumedly the most dependable car here.
Track the Aspen, because it’s super rare and looks too good to pass up.
Burn the Nova, because I think the other two look better.
